In the third quarter of 2022, the top food and drink apps in Nigeria showcased varying trends in downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at the performance of these apps.

Jumia Food: Food Delivery saw a strong performance in weekly downloads, with figures consistently above 10K throughout the quarter, peaking at 12.7K in the week of August 29. Its weekly active users increased from 90.1K at the end of June to approximately 98K by the end of September.

Bolt Food: Delivery & Takeaway experienced a decline in weekly downloads, starting at 7.1K at the end of June and dropping to around 3.4K by the end of September. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around the 24K mark but slightly decreasing to 23.2K by the end of the quarter.

African Recipes: Offline Food had a modest revenue peak of $3 in the first week of August. Weekly downloads showed a downward trend from 6.2K at the end of June to around 3.9K by the end of September. Active users hovered around the 9K-10K range, ending the quarter at approximately 9.5K.

MANO food & products delivery displayed fluctuating weekly downloads, starting at 4.9K at the end of June, peaking at 5.3K in early August, and ending the quarter at 3K. Active users increased from 4.5K at the end of June to around 4.4K by the end of September.

Domino's Pizza Nigeria experienced steady weekly downloads, starting at 2.2K at the end of June and remaining fairly stable around the 2.4K mark by the end of September. Active users, however, saw a decline from 282 at the end of June to approximately 101 by the end of September.
